Joshue M. Flores reportedly slipped a note claiming he had a gun at the customer service counter at Food Town in Croton, demanding all the money in the register at 8 p.m. Friday, according to state police.  Flores ended up fleeing prior to obtaining any money, police said. She is Lauralton Hall student Christiana Cottrell, daughter of Richard Cottrell and Georgia Cottrell, of Redding. Cottrell accepted a Division I scholarship to play softball at Colgate University. The official signing ceremony took place  Nov. 9 at Lauralton Hall in Milford. Division I is the highest level of intercollegiate athletics overseen by the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
