Wilton Mom Takes The Reins As Group Fighting SIDS Moves HQ To New Canaan NEW CANAAN, Conn. — A Wilton mother who lost a son nearly 20 years ago to sudden infant death syndrome is the new chief executive officer of a national organization dedicated to preventing SIDS, stillbirth and miscarriage. Alison Jacobson, a married mother of three who also has two stepchildren, is taking over the leadership post at First Candle, which recently relocated from Baltimore to New Canaan. Crews Knock Down House Fire On Ridgefield-Wilton Border WILTON, Conn. -- Fire crews came from Ridgefield and Wilton to knock down a blaze at a house on Pelham Lane early Wednesday, according to the Wilton Bulletin. Flames were coming from the Ridgefield home's bedroom windows when firefighters arrived, according to News 12 Connecticut. The couple safely exited the home, said News 12 Connecticut.
