Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Karen Cartagena had last been seen leaving her East Meadow residence on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 9 p.m., Nassau County Police said. Her disappearance was reported to police at 8:50 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30. Covid-19: Here's Latest CT Positive-Test Rate As Number Of Deaths During Pandemic Passes 5,000 Connecticut has now seen more than 5,000 deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic. Gov. Ned Lamont made the announcement on Monday afternoon, Nov. 30. There were 59 COVID-related deaths since Friday, Nov. 27. The state’s COVID testing positivity rate declined to 4.4 percent. A total of 106,821 tests were administered; with 4,714 coming back positive (4.41 percent rate). There are now 1,098 patients currently hospitalized with COVID, an increase of 81. Massive Storm Brings Heavy Rain, Damaging Wind Gusts, Possible Tornadoes To Region A powerful storm with damaging wind gusts will make for a soaking start to the first workweek after Thanksgiving. Long Island Man, 29, Accused Of Exposing Himself To 64-Year-Old Woman A man has been accused of exposing himself from his vehicle to a woman waiting at a Long Island bus stop.
