Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Charged With Murder After Girlfriend Found Dead In Long Island Residence A man has been charged with murder after his girlfriend was found dead in their Long Island residence, police announced. The landlord for the property located in Huntington at 22 Elm St. called 911 on Monday, Jan. 18 at 2:08 p.m. to request that police check on the welfare of a tenant who had not been seen in several days. When officers arrived at the scene they found the woman, identified as 47-year-old Mareasa Westcott, dead in her apartment, Suffolk County Police. Teen Killed In Crash That Caused Long Island Expressway Closure An investigation is underway after a teenager was killed in a crash that causes the closure of a stretch of the Long Island Expressway. Franklin Eduardo Sajbin, age 22, of Riverhead, was driving a 2004 Jeep eastbound near exit 66 in Yaphank when he struck a 2018 Alfa Romeo driven by David Cohen, age 55, of Old Bethpage, at approximately 2:20 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, Suffolk County Police said. 21-Year-Old Killed After Car Crashes Off Long Island Roadway, Into Trees, Police Say A 21-year-old was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Long Island. The crash happened around 12:45 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, on the Southern State Parkway at exit 40 in the town of Islip. The victim, Christopher Gutierrez, of Brentwood, was traveling eastbound when his vehicle, a 2017 Subaru, left the roadway, striking a line of trees, New York State Police said. Gutierrez sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene, according to police. The collision is still under investigation and the state police are asking anyone who witnessed or with information to call 631-756-3300.

Here Are Latest Snowfall Projections, New Change In Time Frame For Storm System When it comes to winter storms, snowfall projections are a bit like the real estate market. It all comes down to location, location, location. Police Search For Red SUV After Dozens Of Vehicles, House Damaged Overnight On Long Island Police are searching for a suspect or suspects after dozens of vehicles and one house were damaged overnight on Long Island. The incidents happened between 1:20 a.m. and 3:20 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23 in Selden and Port Jefferson Station, Suffolk County Police said.
