Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Ant’Wan Pevy, age 25, of Ronkonkoma, was driving a 2011 Kia sedan northbound on Nicolls Road when he suffered a medical event that caused him to lose control of the vehicle, Suffolk County Police said. Zach Chmelecki, Former HS Football, Lacrosse Player In Westchester, Dies At 23 Zachary Thomas Chmelecki, of Rye Neck, died on Tuesday, Jan. 26. He was 23. Zack was born Oct. 13, 1997, to Charles and Lisa (nee Zaccaria) Chmelecki. A football and lacrosse player, he played for Iona Prep and later Rye Neck High School where he graduated in 2015.  Later in his life, he was passionate about surfing, fishing, and cooking.  "Zack was a presence; his smile brightened every room he entered," according to his obituary. Nassau County Police First Precinct officers responded to the vicinity of 17 Walton Ave. in Uniondale for a report of a man lying in the street just after 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30. Ulster County resident Michael West, of Milton, won the prize on a Cash Money scratch-off ticket, the New York Lottery announced. “You have no idea what it feels like to win the lottery,” West said. Storm Scenarios: Final Track Will Determine Where Highest Snowfall Totals Will Be A major winter storm taking aim on the region will bring snowfall throughout the region, but the final track the system takes will determine where the highest amounts will be. If the storm moves east and tracks off the coast, it will set up the band of heaviest snow right smack over the Interstate 95 corridor up through Boston, according to AccuWeather.
