Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

ID Released For Man Killed After Falling Through Garage Roof On Long Island The identity has been released of a man who died after falling through a Long Island municipal garage where he was working. Nassau County Police officers responded to a stretch of Sweet Hollow Road in Oyster Bay just before 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19. The man, now identified as Felix Chicas, age 56, of Brentwood, was working at the Town of Oyster Bay garage at 101 Sweet Hollow Road when he fell through, suffering severe body trauma in the fall, said police. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County Police medic.

ID Released For Woman Killed After Being Struck By Car On Long Island Roadway The identity has been released of a woman who was killed in an overnight crash on a busy Long Island roadway. It happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22 in Bellport. The woman was pushing a shopping cart and walking westbound in the roadway on Woodside Avenue, between Station Road and Curtis Avenue, when she was struck by a 2005 Hyundai traveling westbound, Suffolk County Police said.
