Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Woman's Body Found In Compact SUV At Commuter Parking Lot In Region An investigation is underway after a body was found inside a parked compact SUV at a commuter parking lot in the region. Just before 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, there was a report of a strong odor emanating from a gray, Honda CR-V, bearing a California license plate, parked in the I-84 eastbound Exit 2 lot in Danbury, Connecticut State Police said.  Responding troopers located a woman inside of the CR-V, who was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said.  The woman was identified as Joanna Lynne Walker, age 71, of Rancho Murieta, California, state police said.  The i…

37-Year-Old Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash, CT State Police Say An investigation is underway after a fatal single-vehicle crash in Connecticut. It happened around 5:35 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, and involved a motorcycle on westbound Interstate 691 in New Haven County near the Exit 5 entrance ramp in the City of Meriden, according to state police. 20-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Single-Vehicle Long Island Crash A 20-year-old suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash overnight on Long Island. It happened just before 3:10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 in Medford. Patrick Malone was driving a 2013 Toyota Rav4 southbound on Crooked Hill Drive when his vehicle struck a parked vehicle and overturned, Suffolk County Police said. Malone was ejected from the vehicle.  Malone, of Medford, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries.
