New York Man Claims $5 Million Lottery Prize A New York man has claimed a $5,000,000 lottery prize. Dongzhang Zheng, of Manhattan, claimed a top prize from a New York Lottery X Series: 100X scratch-off ticket, NY Lottery announced on Tuesday, April 26. He received his prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $3,061,200 after required withholdings. The lottery said the ticket was purchased at the Forever Health Pharmacy located at 2 East Broadway in Manhattan.

Hempstead Man Sentenced For Role In Major Drug Trafficking Ring A 43-year-old Long Island man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to 39 separate charges for his role in a drug trafficking ring. Able McTootle, of Hempstead, was sentenced to 12 years in prison followed by five years' post-release supervision on Thursday, April 28, according to Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly. Northern Westchester Man Caught With Cocaine After Stop For Not Wearing Seatbelt, Police Say A Northern Westchester man was charged after police said he was found in possession of cocaine during a traffic stop in Connecticut. An officer in Fairfield County pulled a vehicle over on New Norwalk Road in New Canaan after seeing that the driver wasn't wearing a seatbelt at about 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 22, according to the New Canaan Police Department. Inwood Traffic Stop Leads To Discovery Of Firearm, Police Say Two men were arrested on Long Island after a traffic stop for a defective brake light led police to discover a firearm and drugs in the vehicle. Scam Alert: Phishing Text Messages On Rise, New Report Says Cybersecurity experts have reported an increase in phishing scam text messages, according to a new report from CNET.
