New York Man Claims $10 Million Lottery Prize A New York man has claimed a $10,000,000 lottery prize. Ermilo Gatica, of Manhattan, claimed a top prize in the New York Lottery's Black Titanium scratch-off game, the lottery announced on Friday, April 29. He chose to receive his prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $6,122,400 after required withholdings, NY Lottery reported. The ticket was purchased at Nathanael Beauty Supply, which is located at 3887 Broadway in Manhattan, the lottery said.

Investment Banker From Westchester Dies After Battling Cancer An investment banker and longtime Westchester County resident who was born and raised in Connecticut has died from cancer at the age of 71. John Toffolon Jr. died peacefully on Tuesday, April 26, while surrounded by his wife, Joan, and two daughters, Ashley and Allison, according to his obituary. Toffolon was born in Hartford and spent his early years in Litchfield County in the village of Riverton. He went on to live in Bronxville for 30 years, his obituary said. Large Fight Breaks Out At Roosevelt Field Mall Police are investigating a large fight that broke out at a mall on Long Island and sent a 21-year-old man to the hospital.
