Parade Brings Ridgewood Baseball And Softball Season Into Full Swing RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- The Ridgewood Baseball Softball Association will host its opening day parade and family fun day on Saturday, April 23 at Veterans Field. The parade will begin at the Ridgewood Train Station in Wilsey Square and march to Veterans Field.  Food trucks, a vendor pavilion, music, inflatables and carnival games will be available. There will also be more than 100 tricky tray raffle and silent auction items.  The parade and family fun day will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

West Milford Library Holds Annual Book Sale WEST MILFORD, N.J. -- The Friends of the West Milford Library will hold its annual book sale starting Wednesday, April 27. Books, CDs and DVDs in all age categories will be available for purchase. All sales will benefit the library.  The book sale will run on April 27 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursday April 28 and Friday April 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to noon.  Email Marty Tappan at martytappan@hotmail.com if you are interested in volunteering.  The West Milford Library is located at 1490 Union Valley Rd.

East Rutherford Library Organizes A 'Tissue Paper Flower Craft' Event EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The East Rutherford Memorial Library is hosting a “Tissue Paper Flower Craft” on Thursday, May 5. Children ages 8 and up are welcome, but registration is required. Participants can register online or in person at the library with their library card.  Participants must arrive five minutes early to session to claim their reserved spot or risk losing their spot to waitlisted individuals. The tissue paper craft event will begin at 3:30 p.m.  The East Rutherford Library is located at 143 Boiling Springs Ave.
