Music Icon Prince Dead At 57 The musical artist known as Prince has died, according to multiple reports. He was 57. Prince Rogers Nelson was found in his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota on Thursday morning, TMZ reported. The singer had been experiencing health issues that forced his plane to make an emergency landing on April 15. Prince then appeared at a concert the next day to show his fans he was doing okay, TMZ said. Ridgewood High School Ranks Among New Jersey's Best RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Ridgewood High School was named the 303rd best high school in the country by U.S. News & World Report in its annual ranking of best high schools Tuesday. Fair Lawn Indoor Percussion Team Closes Season With National Championships FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- The Fair Lawn Indoor Percussion Ensemble traveled to Dayton, Ohio for the 2016 WGI Percussion World Championships on April 14 through April16. Fair Lawn received a score of 82.65 for their performance. The competition is the final event of the Winter Guard International season and more than 270 groups participated. West Milford Library Holds Annual Book Sale WEST MILFORD, N.J. -- The Friends of the West Milford Library will hold its annual book sale starting Wednesday, April 27. Books, CDs and DVDs in all age categories will be available for purchase. All sales will benefit the library. The book sale will run on April 27 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursday April 28 and Friday April 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to noon. Fort Lee Schools Release 2016-17 School Calendar FORT LEE, N.J. -- The Fort Lee School District released its school calendar for the 2016-17 academic year. Students will report for the first day of school on Tuesday, Sept. 6 and will be dismissed for the summer on Friday, June 23. The calendar calls for 186 days in school for Fort Lee kids.
