John Jay Athletes, Friends Since Kindergarten, Commit To College Teams CROSS RIVER, N.Y. -- Four John Jay High School seniors have just signed letters of intent to play NCAA college sports.  The athletes have been friends since they met in kindergarten at Lewisboro Elementary School.  They are: Tristen Novak (women's lacrosse, Merrimack College); Jackson Rieger (men's lacrosse, Binghamton); Conor Melbourne (wrestling, Princeton); and Ray Cotto (wrestling, Bucknell). All four have signed their NCAA Letters of Intent to play in college and all four have been friends since Kindergarten at Lewisboro Elementary School.
