State Police Plan DUI Roving Patrols, Spot Checks Along Route 8 SHELTON, Conn. -- State Police troopers will conduct roving patrols and spot checks in several towns, including Shelton Thursday to Christmas night, according to Connecticut State Police.The patrols will be conducted on Route 8 in Shelton, Interstate 91 and Route 15 in the North Haven area, and Interstate 691 in Meriden.
