Stamford Police Looking For Suspect In Michael's Pizza Burglary STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford police are asking the public's help in finding the person who burglarized Michael's Pizza at 118 Cove Road on Dec. 17 at approximately 2:43 a.m.The person is also suspected in a burglary at Hong Kong Restaurant on Cove Road, according to police. The brazen suspect shattered the front glass window of Michael's Pizza to gain entry. He is seen on surveillance video and is described as a white or Hispanic male, in a varsity jacket over a dark hoody, with light-colored sleeves and a distinctive elbow patch. Police: Woman Drove Herself To The Hospital After Being Shot BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A woman reportedly drove to the hospital after being shot in what looks to be a drive-by shooting Tuesday, police told the Connecticut Post.She went into the Sunshine Deli with her shoulder bleeding from a bullet injury, Bridgeport Police spokesman Av Harris confirmed to the Connecticut Post. An ambulance went to the deli but the woman was not there. Police encountered her at Bridgeport Hospital and an additional shooting victim went there too, said the Connecticut Post. Bronxville Habitat Club Raises Money For Projects With Gingerbread Houses BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- While Bronxville students in the Habitat for Humanity Club usually knock down walls and move construction debris, their December building project involved Graham Crackers and icing. The fourth annual Gingerbread House Making fundraiser garnered $600 to benefit Westchester County’s chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Three Teens Arrested On Christmas In Westport After Police Pursuit WESTPORT, Conn. — Three underage teenagers were arrested early Christmas morning in a stolen car after a chase with police that began outside the CVS Pharmacy in Westport, police said. Stratford Fire Department Mourns Passing Of Firefighter STRATFORD, Conn. -- A Stratford firefighter and emergency medical technician died Monday at his home, according to the Connecticut Post.Jason “Jay’’ Carrafiello, who was 38, was a Stratford and Connecticut EMT, the Connecticut Post reported. Sisters' Legacy Lives On With Gifts To Mercy Learning Center In Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Lauralton Hall students who are in the National Honor Society assembled holiday gift bags with personal items for Mercy Learning Center in Bridgeport this month. State Police Respond To Hundreds Of Incidents Over Holiday Weekend DANBURY, Conn. -- The Connecticut State Police responded to hundreds of incidents since a state police enforcement operation began Dec. 22, including a fatal hit-and-run accident in Danbury.
