Easton Farmer Recognized For 'Lifesaver' Help
EASTON, Conn. -- The owner of Silverman's Farm in Easton was honored Monday by the Easton Police Commission at its monthly meeting.Irv Silverman was recognized by Police Chief Tim Shaw and commission members for promoting the Project Lifesaver Initiative in Easton through his business, according to police on the department's Facebook page. Campbell Soup Foundation Serves Up $10,000 To Person-To-Person In Darien
DARIEN, Conn. -- Individuals in the surrounding communities could receive help with utility bills or a security deposit when moving fro a shelter from Person-to-Person in Darien. The organization received a $10,000 "Dollars for Doers" grant from Pepperidge Farm, a subsidiary of the Campbell Soup Company, based in Norwalk. Stamford Police Officer, K9 Rescue Youth
STAMFORD, Conn. -- A youth missing from the city's Glenbrook section was found by a Stamford Police officer and K9 Officer Badge Tuesday night.The officers were able to track the youth within 20 minutes of receiving the missing report, according to the department's Facebook page. Badge is the only bloodhound in the department's K9 unit.

Norwalk Hospital Donates AEDs to New Canaan Fire, St. Aloysius Church
NORWALK, Conn. -- The New Canaan Fire Department and St. Aloysius Church both recently received an automated external defibrillator, a measure that can help save someone who suffers a cardiac arrest. The AEDs from Norwalk Hospital were gifts of Thomas Ayoub, M.D., Chief of Medical Staff, and his wife Christine Dombrowski, a certified nurse midwife.
