Elizabeth Facendola, 89, Of Ridgefield
RIDGEFIELD, N.J. -- Elizabeth Facendola, of Ridgefield, died Tuesday, Jan. 24. She was 89.
Facendola was born Oct. 27, 1927, in Teaneck. She was a secretary at Bright Steel in New York City.
After raising her children, she returned to work as a bookkeeper at Facendola Fuel Co. in Hoboken.
She is survived by children, Steven Facendola and his fiance Ashley Lanzara, Jerry Facendola (Susan Lui-Facendola) and Deidre Altobell (Joseph); grandchildren, Steven G. and Ashley.
The family will receive their friends Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave.…
Sun Peaks Out, But Rain Will Return At Night In Darien
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- After heavy rain, sleet and winds from a nor'easter, sunny skies today will warm things up to around 10 degrees over normal for January, according to the National Weather Service.
Wednesday morning's gray skies will give way to the sunshine, pushing temperatures into the 40s for most of the day.
Showers come back tonight, bringing a cold front. The rain and above-freezing air will stick around Thursday morning, said the Weather Service.
