Lewisboro Meals On Wheels Needs Volunteers LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Imagine you're homebound, sick, or recovering from surgery and can't cook or go out to buy yourself a meal. Many local residents like that receive help from the Lewisboro Meals On Wheels program whose volunteers see to it they have one meal a day. Deliveries are made on weekdays at lunchtime by a small army of volunteers though more are needed. "We definitely need volunteers," maintained Mark Nathan, a coordinator. "We're an all-volunteer group.We deliver one meal, lunch, every weekday throughout the year except weekends, national holidays, and snow days.…

She was a secretary at Bright Steel in New York City. After raising her children, she returned to work as a bookkeeper at Facendola Fuel Co. in Hoboken. She is survived by children, Steven Facendola and his fiance Ashley Lanzara, Jerry Facendola (Susan Lui-Facendola) and Deidre Altobell (Joseph); grandchildren, Steven G. and Ashley. Stamford Police Take Dangerous Driver Off Road With Citizen's Help STAMFORD, Conn.-- A drunk driver who was heavily intoxicated in Scalzi Park was taken off the road and arrested by Stamford police after they were notified by a witness. The citizen alerted police after seeing the driver enter his vehicle and drive away, the department said on Facebook.
