Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect At Large After Christmas Day Long Island Shooting A suspect is at large after an early morning Christmas Day shooting on Long Island. It happened on Friday, Dec. 25 at around 6:36 a.m. in Baldwin. Nassau County First Precinct officers found a 30-year-old victim lying on the ground on Cottage Place with a gunshot wound to his chest and shoulder. Covid-19: Hudson Valley Sees 1,552 New Cases; Latest Breakdown By County The Hudson Valley saw a total of 1,552 new COVID-19 infections, according to information released by state health officials on Friday, Dec. 25. There are currently 789 patients hospitalized with COVID in the Hudson Valley, with 35 percent of hospital beds available in the region's seven counties. Covid-19: Long Island Sees 2,366 New Cases; Latest Breakdown By County Long Island saw a total of 2,366 new COVID-19 infections, according to information released by state health officials on Friday, Dec. 25. There were 1,270 new COVID-19 cases in Suffolk (a slight decrease from the day before) and 1,096 in Nassau (a slight increase over a day earlier) on Thursday, Dec. 24, as Long Island saw a total of 2,366 new cases. Man Steals Bobcat Loader, Crashes Through Long Island Target, Burglarizing Business, Police Say A man was apprehended after he stole a Bobcat skid steer loader, and crashed the vehicle through the front doors of a Long Island Target, before burglarizing the store, according to police. The incident happened around 1:50 a.m. Friday, Dec. 25 in Bay Shore. Man Accused Of Inappropriately Touching Teenage Worker In Nassau County A Long Island employer has been accused of inappropriately touching a teenage worker. The 17-year-old female victim notified Nassau County Police on Wednesday, Dec. 16 that she had been inappropriately touched multiple times by her employer while working at Phoenix Gymnastics, located on Bethpage Sweet Hollow Road in Old Bethpage.
