Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Around noontime Friday, April 9, Nassau County Police officers responded to a residence on Pennywood Avenue in Roosevelt after a report of a dispute between two men, one with a gun. Jeziah Adorno ran away from her home in Chicopee and was last seen in the area of Pearl Street in Springfield, Chicopee Police said. One Killed After Speeding Vehicle Crashes Into Welcome To Jones Beach Monument, Police Say One person was killed after a vehicle crashed into the Welcome to Jones Beach monument, according to state police. The crash happened around 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, April 6. The vehicle was traveling southbound on the Meadowbrook State Parkway, at a high rate of speed, witnesses reported to police. Covid-19: CDC Releases New Guidance On Spread Of Virus On Surfaces The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) has released updated guidance on the spread of COVID-19 on surfaces. Long Island Expressway Fully Reopens Hours After Double-Fatal Crash A stretch of the Long Island Expressway has now fully reopened after a deadly pre-dawn crash on Monday, April 5.
