Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect Nabbed For String Of Long Island Home Burglaries A suspect has been nabbed in connection to a string of residential burglaries on Long Island. Nassau County Police officers responded to a Hicksville residence on Mead Avenue for a burglary that just occurred around 2:45 p.m. Saturday, April 10. Upon arrival, officers broadcast a description of the subject. Health Alert Issued For Ground Turkey Products Shipped Nationwide Linked to Salmonella Check your freezer. A public health alert has been issued for more than 211,000 pounds of raw ground turkey sold under multiple brands because the products may have caused Salmonella, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced. Woman Found Dead After Long Island House Fire Breaks Out A woman was found dead after a house fire broke out on Long Island. The blaze happened in Levittown, on Forester Lane, late Saturday morning on Saturday, April 10. Covid-19: New Info Emerges On Who's More Likely To Experience Vaccine Side Effects With an average of about three million Americas receiving COVID-19 vaccines each day, new information has emerged as to who's most susceptible to side effects. Suspect At Large After Fatal Shooting At Long Island Convenience Store A suspect is at large after a fatal shooting at a Long Island convenience store overnight. It happened around 12:45 a.m. Saturday, April 10, in Wyandanch. Darnell Snell, age 38, of Brentwood, was inside Wyandanch Convenience Store, located at 315 Merritt Ave. when he was shot by another man inside the store, Suffolk County Police said.
