Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Woman Killed In Crash Between Car, SUV With Nine Occupants In Area, Police Say An investigation is underway after a female driver was killed when her car crashed into an SUV overnight. The crash happened at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, July 17, in Orange County, on Route 32 in the town of Cornwall. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2009 Toyota Corolla, operated by Helen Rivera, age 38, from the city of Newburgh, was traveling south when she crossed into the northbound lane and struck a 2010 Dodge Journey, New York State Police said. Driver Killed In Single-Vehicle Long Island Crash An investigation is underway after a fatal single-vehicle crash happened overnight on Long Island. A man was riding a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle southbound on Route 112 in Medford, near Commercial Boulevard, when the driver lost control of the motorcycle and struck several road signs and a pole before coming to a stop just before 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, Suffolk County Police said. It's in effect until 11 p.m. Saturday, July 17. ID Released For Man Killed After Car Strikes Scooter On Busy Long Island Roadway The identity has been released of the driver of a scooter who was killed in a Long Island crash. The crash occurred around midnight Friday, July 16 in West Hempstead. A 31-year-old man was driving a 2021 Mazda westbound on Hempstead Turnpike in the area of Cherry Valley Road when he struck a Bird-battery operated scooter traveling eastbound on the Hempstead Turnpike, Nassau County Police said. Fairfield County staple Craig's Jewelers, located on Main Street in Ridgefield, announced that Elsie Craig has died at the age of 94.
