Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Minor Over Three-Year Span A Long Island man has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a minor over a three-year span. Suffolk County Police say that in addition to sexually abusing the female girl over the span of three years, the Huntington Station man also sent inappropriate messages to a second female child over the span of several months. Woman Found Dead In Wooded Area On Long Island An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in a wooded area on Long Island. Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct officers responded to a 911 call reporting a female body lying in a wooded area in Centereach off of Hawkins Road, near Eastwood Boulevard, at approximately 12:10 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11. Jaclyn D’Andrea, 33, of Bellmore, was pronounced dead by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. Covid-19: Hudson Valley Sees Uptick In Positive Testing Rate; Latest County Totals The Hudson Valley saw an uptick in the positivity rate for COVID-19 testing, according to newly released data on Monday, Oct. 12. Within the "Red Zone" focus areas, 2,190 test results were reported statewide on Sunday, Oct. 11, yielding 81 positives or a 3.70 percent positivity rate. Officer Hospitalized After Being Violently Attacked By Woman At Long Island Bar, Police Say An officer was hospitalized after being violently attacked by a woman at a Long Island bar overnight, according to police.
