Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Baby Lilah made her debut on Friday, Jan. 1 at 12:02 a.m, weighing 8 pounds, 8.3 ounces. This is the first baby for Dana and Matthew Wrigley of Stamford. Greenwich Hospital welcomed more than 2,700 babies into the world in 2020.

Man Critically Injured After Being Hit By Pickup Truck On Busy Long Island Roadway A man was critically injured after being struck by a pickup truck on a busy Long Island roadway overnight. The incident happened on Thursday, Dec. 31 at 6:05 p.m. in Mineola. While attempting to cross Jericho Turnpike north to south in the vicinity of Nassau Blvd., the 29-year-old was struck by a 2020 Dodge pickup traveling eastbound, Nassau County Police said. One Killed In Four-Alarm Westchester Apartment Fire One person was killed after a four-alarm fire broke out at an apartment building in Westchester overnight. The blaze in the five-story, brick building, located on Bruce Avenue in Yonkers, began at around 5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 1, and the building was heavily damaged before the fire was brought under control. Covid-19: New, More Contagious 'Super Strain' Of Virus Now Has Been Confirmed In Three States In the span of just two days, three states have now confirmed cases of the COVID-19 variant so-called "Super Strain" that is said to be approximately 70 percent more contagious.
