Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

First-time parents Kathleen and Jerry Serafin of Dix Hills named the boy Tyler James. Born at Northwell’s Katz Women’s Hospital at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, Tyler weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces, and measured 18 inches. First Projected Snowfall Totals Released For New Storm That Will Sweep Through Region An active weather pattern that has marked the arrival of 2021 will soon include a new storm system that is now expected to bring accumulating snowfall to much of the region. The time frame for the storm is Sunday afternoon and Sunday night, Jan. 3 into early Monday morning, Jan. 4. Suspect Nabbed For Stabbing Outside Long Island Restaurant A suspect has been apprehended after a stabbing outside a Long Island restaurant. The incident happened Friday, Jan. 1 at approximately 5:40 p.m. in Farmingville. Following an alteration, Arlington Guzman-Mejia, age 38, of Port Jefferson Station, stabbed a man outside of Los Amigos Restaurant, located at 1075 Portion Road, Suffolk County Police said. Man Rescued After Falling Into Icy Waters At Long Island Marina A man was rescued after falling into icy waters at a Long Island marina.
