20-Year-Old Killed In Newark Shooting: Prosecutors A 20-year-old Newark resident was fatally shot on Wednesday, Jan. 24, authorities said. At 6:53 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting on the 100 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.  Officers found Nasir Dudley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Stephens and Fragé said.
