Plainfield Firefighter, 32, Dies In Line Of Duty (Update) Marques Hudson, a 32-year-old firefighter in Plainfield, was killed while battling a fire at 332 Emerson Ave. on Friday, Jan. 26, the city announced. On Tuesday, Jan. 23, a Maplewood police officer observed a parked motor vehicle with fogged-up windows on Millburn Avenue. After conducting an investigation, police discovered Alexis Lluminquinga had walked off an NJ Transit bus and entered the vehicle, which did not belong to him, officers said. Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle: Raritan PD A 64-year-old Flemington resident was fatally struck by a vehicle in Raritan Township on the early morning of Friday, Jan. 26, authorities said. At 5:55 a.m., Raritan Township police along with paramedics responded to Commerce Street and Route 202/31 and found the injured pedestrian, officers said. Ricardo The NJ Transit Bull On The Mend After Battling Deadly Infection Ricardo, the bull that captured the Garden State's attention after it wandered onto the train tracks last month, is recovering after battling a deadly infection, his caretakers said. Skylands Animal Sanctuary in Wantage said on Facebook they discovered Ricardo had road rash on his leg when they rescued him after his trip on the tracks.
