Pillar Plaza, a non-profit ministry in Somerset County has purchased an office property in Somerset for $4.5 million, Bussel Realty Corp. announced.
The 84,325 square foot office property is located at 80 Cottontail Ln., off Exit 5 on Route 287, Bussel Realty said. The property consists of 85,425 square feet of modern office space, with 329 surface and covered parking spaces. The property was purchased through Ten-X, an online platform specializing in commercial real estate auctions.

Piscataway Woman Killed In Route 287 Crash: Njsp
A 72-year-old Piscataway woman was killed in a vehicle collision on Route 287 on Tuesday, June 24, authorities said.
At 10:36 a.m. a Honda minivan traveling south on Route 287 in Edison Township struck the rear of a Ford box truck, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
Judith Kennen, the front seat passenger, sustained fatal injuries while her husband, Albert, sustained minor injuries, Lebron said.
The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
Reading Pair Caught With 14K Fentanyl Pills On NJ Highway: Prosecutor
A Pennsylvania couple was arrested after police say they were caught transporting 14,000 suspected fentanyl pills with a street value of $420,000 on a North Jersey highway.
Edgar Holguin-Reyes, 30, and Yakayra Reyes, 27, both of Reading, PA, were pulled over around 6:35 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, on Route 287 in Mahwah, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
During the stop, detectives searched the vehicle and found approximately 14,000 suspected fentanyl pills, Musella said. The pills are believed to have a total street value of $420,000.

Troopers responded to the scene at milepost 55.4 around 10:03 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.
According to a preliminary investigation, a passenger vehicle traveling south lost control, hit a guardrail, and overturned in Wanaque. During the crash, debris struck another vehicle, police said.

Overturned Tractor Trailer On Route 287 Causes Other Crashes: State Police
An overturned truck caused numerous crashes on Route 287 on Wednesday, March 6, state police said.
At 8:05 p.m., troopers responded to Route 287 north in Morristown Township, Troy McNair, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police, said.
The driver of the truck lost control and overturned, causing logs to fall off his trailer into the southbound lanes, McNair said.
Multiple car crashes occurred as a result and lanes were blocked on the northbound and southbound side, McNair said. Minor injuries were reported, McNair said.
The crash remains under investigation, McNair said.
