A Maryland man's booze-fueled search for his girlfriend ended with a stranger bloodied at a bus stop, prosecutors say.
Alford Delone Johnson, 46, of Abingdon, had been drinking and was agitated while looking for his girlfriend in Aberdeen on Nov. 7, 2025, before turning his attention to two men waiting for public transportation on East Bel Air Avenue, according to the Harford County State's Attorney's Office.
One of them never saw it coming.
Prosecutors said Johnson walked up to a 31-year-old man and, without provocation, struck him in the face with a liquor bottle.

A New York man was busted driving through the Hudson Valley with seven kilograms of cocaine, police announced Friday, Sept. 25.
Jesus A. Camacho, 36, of Columbia, was pulled over just before 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15 on the New York State Thruway in Rosendale, New York State Police said.
Camacho was traveling northbound in a 2017 Nissan when he was stopped, authorities said. He was the only person in the car, according to officials.

A drug sale in a Connecticut parking lot led police to crack cocaine and a gun inside a housing authority apartment, investigators said.
Patricia Saunders, 59, of Danbury, and Ronald Reiske Jr., 49, of Brookfield, were arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 22, after a month-long investigation into drug sales in Danbury, authorities said. The DEA’s Bridgeport office assisted.
Police said detectives watched Saunders leave her apartment at 7 Fairfield Ridge in Danbury and drive to 72 South St., where they saw her make a drug sale. Officers took Saunders and Reiske into custody without incident.

James H. Maloy, 62, of Waterford, was sentenced Friday, Sept. 25 to between one and three years in state prison, the Rensselaer County District Attorney’s office said.
Maloy was pulled over for a traffic stop Sept. 15, 2025, on County Route 7 in Schodack, authorities said.

A Long Island high school custodian admitted to filming himself sexually abusing a child and sharing it online, authorities said.
Brian Woehr, 41, of Lindenhurst, cut a plea deal Friday, Sept. 25 in which he admitted to two counts in exchange for a 17-year prison sentence, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said.
Woehr, a father of two young girls, was previously employed as a custodian in the Lindenhurst school district, authorities said. Following his arrest, the district said Woehr was a custodian part-time from 2018 to 2021 and was dismissed for unrelated reasons.
