Convicted Drunk Driver Strikes Pedestrian In Enola Then Flees, Police Say A convicted drunk driver is accused of striking a pedestrian and fleeing, East Pennsboro Township Police announced on Thursday, Aug. 8.  David Lewis Sweger, 58, of Enola, struck a man with his pick-up truck intersection of East Perry Street and Altoona Avenue in Enola at 7:55 p.m. on July 25, police alleged in the release.  Officers arrived at the scene that night and spoke with the victim. NWS Confirms Tornado Touched Down In Pennsylvania The National Weather Service at State College has confirmed a tornado touched in Harrisburg and traveled through the neighboring townships during Tropical Storm Debby on Friday, Aug. 9. Multi-Vehicle Crash Partially Closes I-81 In Central PA: PennDOT (Developing) A multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer has led to lane restriction on Interstate 81, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice on Friday, Aug. 9.  The crash happened on I-81 South in the center and right lane at mm 58.3 around 4:40 p.m., according to Schreffler.  The lane restriction is at Exit 59: Route 581 East to Route 11: Camp Hill, according to PennDOT's 511PA.
