PA Son Kills 92-Year-Old Dad In Murder-Suicide: Coroner A 92-year-old dad was killed by his son and namesake in what officials are calling murder-suicide, the Mercer County Coroner’s office told Daily Voice on Monday, Oct. 7. David E. Frew, 92, of West Salem Township, was shot in the head by his son, David C. Frew, 51, of Sharpsville on Sunday, Oct. 6.  First responders were called to the scene in Mercer County around 5:30 p.m. that night.  The elder David Frew was pronounced dead at the scene by Chief Deputy Coroner Robert L. Fire Engulfs RV, Van In Lebanon County: Officials (Photos) A fire ripped through an RV and van in Lebanon County on Monday morning, Oct. 7, fire officials explained. The Neptune Fire Company was called to "a structure fire" in the 300 block of Eagles Peak Road at Eagle's Peak Campground in Millcreek Township at 5:13 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find an RV and van engulfed in flames. It took approximately two hours for crews to clear the scene.
