Before settling into the Hudson Valley, Zak! previously spent time in the New York Daily News newsroom and worked for hyperlocal digital news outlets on Long Island. He wrote sports for The Ithacan and The Ithaca Journal before taking his talents to the Pacific Northwest, where he served as the sports editor at the Shoshone News-Press until heading back east to work with Daily Voice.

Three Armed Juveniles At Large After Carjacking Lexus Driver In Virginia: Police (Video) Recognize them? The Fairfax County Police Department is seeking the public's assistance as they attempt to locate a group of minors who are wanted for an armed carjacking on Tuesday night. Shortly before 8 p.m. on Jan. 30, police say that three juvenile suspects approached two men who were inside a Lexus in the 5900 block of Mount Eagle Drive in Huntingtown. Two Teens Suffer Stab Wounds During Eight-Person Fight In Stafford County, Sheriff Says An 18-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing two teens during a massive melee in Stafford County, the sheriff's office says.
