Fight At Middle School In Yorktown Leads To Arrest, Concussion A 12-year-old student was arrested and charged with juvenile delinquency after a fight in a hallway at Mildred E. Strang Middle School in Yorktown on Monday, Yorktown Police said. The 12-year-old's name is not being released by police and the underlying charge was assault in the third degree, a Class A misdemeanor.  The student allegedly punched another student several times, causing him to suffer a concussion and bruising to his face. The student was served an appearance ticket at his home and was released on his recognizance to a parent. He is due back in court on Oct. 10.

Donald Trump Not Fit To Be President, Majority Of Americans Say President Donald Trump, who owns plenty of properties in the Hudson Valley, is not fit to be president, according to a new national Quinnipac poll. Those polled said by a 56-42 percent margin that Trump is wnot fit to serve as chief executive. Only 36 percent of those polled approve of the job he is doing. The poll was aligned on party lines, with 94 percent of Democrats and 14 percent of Republicans saying he was not fit to be president.
