Imperioli, who starred as Christopher on the "Sopranos" and is a Mount Vernon native who graduated from Brewster High School, has been cast as Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the Showtime miniseries "Escape from Dannemora," about the 2015 escape of two inmates from an upstate New York prison. A street team has been sweeping up Peekskill three times a week, cleaning up of all the litter. Challenges have been mounted in the Orangetown Supervisor Race and the race for Clarkstown Councilman in Ward 2.
