Police Search For Duo Accused Of Using Stolen Credit Card At Commack Target Police have asked the public for help identifying two people accused of using a stolen credit card at a Long Island Target. Two male suspects, whose ages were not identified, used a stolen credit card at the Target located at 98 Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack, on Friday, Jan. 28, according to a report from the Suffolk County Police Department on Monday, March 7. Brand-New Jersey Mike's Opens In Hudson Valley A new Jersey Mike's sandwich shop has opened in the Hudson Valley. The new Jersey Mike's Subs is located at 2627 South Road Suite #20 in Poughkeepsie. Connecticut Fire Department Mourning After Captain Dies Of Cancer A Connecticut fire department is mourning the death of a fire captain who served the department for 27 years. Rocky Hill Fire Captain James Lamarre died after a months-long battle with cancer, the Hartford County department announced on Tuesday, March 8. The Rocky Hill Fire Department said Lamarre's cancer was work-related. Lamarre served many roles in his years with the fire department, including a career apparatus mechanic, officials said. Lamarre was also a United States Army veteran and a chaplain for the Benino-Beck VFW Post 2138 in Rocky Hill.
