Fire Breaks Out At CT Spare Time Entertainment Center A fire broke out in an air handling unit on the roof of a Spare Time entertainment center in Connecticut. Crews responded to the report of the fire in Tolland County at the business, which is located at 350 Talcottville Road in Vernon, at 2 a.m. on Sunday, April 24, according to the Ellington Volunteer Fire Department EVFD said it assisted the Town of Vernon Fire Department at the scene.  Officials said the issue was isolated to the air handler, and the fire didn't cause significant damage. Police Search For Man Accused Of Stealing $580 Item At Target In Centereach Police have asked the public for help locating a man accused of stealing a Roomba vacuum from a Long Island store. The man stole the vacuum from Target, located at 265 Pond Path in Centereach, at about 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, according to the Suffolk County Police Department. Recall Issued For Brand Of Heated Blankets Due To Burn, Fire Hazards A company has recalled thousands of heated blankets after receiving reports of blankets overheating, posing a burn risk. MWA LLC recalled about 4,200 LUXE+WILLOW Heated Blankets on Thursday, April 21, according to an announcement from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission. Lane Closures Scheduled On Long Stretch Of I-684 The New York State Department of Transportation has announced upcoming lane closures on a stretch of I-684 in Westchester County due to roadway paving.  Two lanes are expected to close along I-684 northbound between the Hutchinson River Parkway in Harrison and Exit 4 (Route 172) in Bedford, officials said. The closures are set to take place each night between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Sunday, April 24, through Thursday, May 5, to facilitate roadway paving activities, according to the announcement.

Roger Cote, age 61, is wanted for reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and engaging in a pursuit, according to Connecticut State Police.
