Little Ferry Man Possessed BB Gun, Knife Outside Church: Police A 29-year-old Little Ferry man was arrested and charged on Monday, April 14, after he was found with a knife and a BB gun outside a church in Palisades Park authorities said. At 6:11 p.m., officers responded to a report of a suspicious person at First Street and E. Edsall Boulevard and located Minseuk Jung standing out the Presbyterian Church of New Jersey at 500 Broad Ave., Palisades Park police said. Officers conducted a pat down of Jung and located a knife and an air-type BB gun, police said. Jung was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, police said.

Paterson Parolee With Ankle Monitor Broke Into Vehicles At Park: Essex County Sheriff Two people were arrested and charged with breaking into vehicles at Brookdale Park in Bloomfield on Monday, April 14, authorities said. Officers were alerted to a report of a parolee with an ankle monitor, later identified as Felix Martinez, a 40-year-old Paterson resident, near Brookdale Park, after he had been involved in several investigations about break-ins at the park, the Essex County Sheriff's Office said. Truck Crashes Into Building, Driver Arrested: Cherry Hill PD A driver was arrested after his truck crashed into a residential building in Cherry Hill on Tuesday, April 15, authorities said. At 11:57 a.m., officers responded to a crash near 1800 Burroughs Mills Circle, Cherry Hill police said. While the incident appears to be isolated and unintentional, police said, the driver, a 37-year-old man from Schenectady, New York was arrested. Trenton Rallies Around Family After Mother, Daughter Murdered Santana Maher’s mother, Malika Whiting and 13-year-old younger sister, Jairah Biggs were fatally shot in their home on Trenton on Saturday, April 12, authorities said. At 10:30 a.m., Trenton police responded to the 300 block of West State Street and found Biggs in a third-floor bedroom, and Whitting shot in a stairwell leading upstairs, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said. Newark Man Killed After Exiting Moving Car On Route 78: Njsp A 20-year-old Newark man was killed after he left a car while it was in motion on Route 78 on Friday, April 11, authorities said. At 11:11 p.m., officers responded to Route 78 West at Exit 55 in Newark, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Jason Ellis exited a Nissan Rogue while it was heading westbound on Route 78, Lebron said. As a result of the impact, Ellis sustained fatal injuries, Lebron said. 16-Year-Old Robbed, Assaulted By Five Men: Montclair Police A 16-year-old was robbed and assaulted by five people in Montclair last week, authorities announced on Tuesday, April 15. Officers responded to Elm Street and Orange Road where they found the 16-year-old boy with multiple lacerations to his head, Montclair Police said. The boy said he had been beaten and robbed of his belongings in an alley on Lackawanna Plaza. Car Removed After Crashing Into River: Downe Twp Fire/Rescue (Photos) A car had to be pulled from the Maurice River in Millville on Monday, April 14, authorities said. Downe Twp Fire/Rescue and Dive Team said they responded to the scene following the crash, with the occupant removed from the vehicle prior to their arrival.
