Teaneck Library Friends Collecting Books For Annual Sale TEANECK, N.J. -- The Friends of the Teaneck Public Library will hold its Annual Book Sale starting on Saturday, May 21. A special preview sale for members will be held on Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20. The regular sale will run from Saturday, May 21 through Tuesday, May 24. Children Celebrate Cinco De Mayo, Mother's Day At East Rutherford Library EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The East Rutherford Library helped kids celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Thursday. Kids colored and designed a Mother's Day coloring sheet and also participated in a Mexican Hat Dance. Cinco de Mayo celebrates the Mexican army's victory over the French at the battle of Puebla. It is used to celebrate Mexican heritage in the United States.

Ridgewood Middle School Organizes Mental Health Panel RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Ridgewood parents and guardians will have a final opportunity to participate in the district’s 2015-2016 Well-being series on Wednesday, May 18 at Benjamin Franklin Middle School. An expert panel of mental health professionals will provide tips on identifying symptoms as well as resources for further help. Representatives from Care Plus NJ, West Bergen Mental Healthcare and the Stigma-Free program participate in the panel. Wayne Valley High School Announces Valedictorians, Salutatorians WAYNE, N.J. -- Wayne Valley High School announced the 2016 valedictorians and salutatorian recently. Komal Nerurkar and Stephanie Tang were named co-valedictorian while Catriona Kendall was named salutatorian. Nerurkar was named a National Merit Scholarhsip Finalist and AP Scholar with Distinction. She will attend Carnegie Mellon and will major in computer science.
