Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

74-Year-Old Accused Of Sexually Abusing Child, State Police Say A 74-year-old man has been accused of sexually abusing a child, state police announced. A search warrant was executed at the residence of Vincent Ferris on Thursday, July 2 after an investigation regarding criminal sex acts allegedly committed by Vincent E. Ferris, of Stanford, against a victim under the age of 17. Ferris was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sex act, a Class E felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor. It happened on Thursday, July 2 at about 9:25 p.m. in Lindenhurst. Jose Espinal-Padilla,  36, of Copiague, was operating a Takadi motorcycle northbound on North Wellwood Avenue when the motorcycle crashed into a southbound 2013 Nissan Rogue that was attempting to make a left turn onto Newark Street, Suffolk County Police said.
