Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

I-684 Lanes Reopen After Serious Crash This story has been updated. Two lanes that were closed have reopened after a serious crash on a stretch of I-684. The crash, reported around 3:15 p.m. Monday, July 13, happened on the southbound side near Exit 8 Hardscrabble Road (Route 138) in Croton Falls. It blocked the left lanes in both directions due to emergency guardrail repairs for at least two hours.

Two Killed, Two Injured When Land Rover Crashes Into Northern State Parkway Overpass Two people were killed and two others hospitalized in a single-vehicle Long Island crash involving a Land Rover, authorities announced. The crash happened on Saturday, July 11 at about 4:20 a.m., on the Sunken Meadow State Parkway just south of the Northern State Parkway in Smithtown, state police said. Covid-19: New Poll Shows Percentage Of NYers Who Want Schools To Reopen New Yorkers are split on whether or not to fully reopen schools in the fall amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Half of New York State residents (50 percent) think it is a bad idea to restart in-school instruction this fall, according to an NBC 4 New York/Marist College poll. Covid-19: Retailer Closing Connecticut Location A popular retailer has filed for bankruptcy and plans to permanently close nearly half its stores, including one in Connecticut, after temporary store closures amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Long Island Man Seriously Injured After Pickup Truck Crashes Into Tree A Long Island man was seriously injured after a pickup truck crashed into a tree on Long Island. It happened on Sunday, July 12 just before 2 a.m. in Lindenhurst.
