Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

16-Year-Old Accused Of Firing Gun At Vehicle In Area A 16-year-old boy has been charged for firing a gun at a vehicle in the area. The incident happened in the area near 29 North Hamilton Street in the City of Poughkeepsie late Friday morning, Aug. 7. No one was injured and the vehicle was not hit. A short time after the incident, the boy was located and arrested for firing at the vehicle. ID Released For Man Killed In Wrong-Way Wantagh Parkway Crash The identity has been released of a person killed in a wrong-way crash on Long Island as well as for a man who was hospitalized. The crash happened on the Wantagh State Parkway just south of the Southern State Parkway in Wantagh at around 5:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug.13. Alexander Simek, 73, of Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, was driving a 2019 Chevrolet northbound in the southbound lanes when he struck a 2014 Honda, state police said. Missing Westport Woman Found Update: A 71-year-old woman who went missing in Fairfield County has been found. The Westport Police Department was informed on Monday, Aug. 10 that Yaroslava Cayvskaya returned home. Officers responded to her residence and confirmed she was present and appeared in fine health.
