Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Covid-19: School District In Fairfield County Goes Remote After Student Tests Positive A school district in Fairfield County has shifted to remote learning for Monday, Sept. 21 after a student tested positive for COVID-19. The Weston Public School District said it learned of the positive case at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20. "We need at least Monday to do additional contact tracing to determine the potential spread of COVID-19 in the district," a statement posted on the district website said. ID Released For Man Killed In Long Island House Fire The identity has been released of a man who was killed after a house fire broke out on Long Island. The blaze began around 3 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18 in Bethpage at 454 Farm Ranch Road East. When emergency responders arrived at the scene, the house was fully engulfed in flames, Nassau County Police said. The blaze was extinguished by the Bethpage Fire Department. One Killed In Northern State Parkway Crash One person was killed in a two-vehicle on the Northern State Parkway. The crash occurred on the eastbound side in the area of Exit 35 in the town of Oyster Bay just before 1:40 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, state police said. The crash involved a car and a motorcycle.
