Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

ID Released For Woman Struck, Killed By Car Shortly After Falling Onto Long Island Roadway The identity has been released of a woman who was struck and killed by a car shortly after she fell onto a Long Island roadway, police announced. The incident happened on Saturday, Jan. 9 at approximately 6:45 p.m. in Lindenhurst. Woman Wanted For Punching Employee At Long Island Restaurant, Police Say A woman is at large after punching a Long Island restaurant employee, police say. Officers responded to a radio assignment of a fight in Baldwin at Flaming Grill Buffet at 1773 Grand Ave. on Friday, Jan. 8 at 5:10 p.m., Nassau County Police said. Covid-19: Three New Cases Of More Contagious 'Super Strain' Of Virus Confirmed In NY Three new cases of the COVID-19 variant so-called "Super Strain" that is said to be approximately 70 percent more contagious have now been confirmed in New York. MTA Worker From Hudson Valley Suspended For Allegedly Calling In Sick To Attend Capitol Riots A Metro-North worker who lives and works in the Hudson Valley who allegedly called in sick to be part of the pro-Trump riots at the United States Capitol has been suspended.
