Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Struck, Killed By Car On Long Island Roadway A man was killed after being struck by a car on a Long Island roadway overnight. The incident happened around 3:10 a.m. Thursday, March 18 in North Bay Shore. Henry Zepeda-Gomez, age 34, of Bay Shore, was driving a 2003 Toyota Corolla southbound on Fifth Avenue, near Claremont Avenue when the vehicle struck the man in the roadway, Suffolk County Police said. Suffolk County Police Special Victims Section detectives arrested Renato Oliva Garcia, age 22, of Mastic Beach, at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, for the alleged rape that police say occurred on Monday, March 15. Officers Race In To Help Rescue Two Children After House Fire Breaks Out In Area Three police officers in the Hudson Valley are being hailed as heroes for helping to rescue two children after a house fire broke out. It happened in North Rockland on Saturday morning, March 13. When officers arrived at the scene in Stony Point, the house was fully engulfed in flames.
