Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Alert Issued For Missing Western Mass Man A 68-year-old Western Massachusetts man has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him. Franklin County resident Geoffrey R. Arthur, of Sunderland, who goes by "Randy," was last seen around 9 p.m. Sunday, March 28. Man Dies From Injuries After Being Struck By Car Near Long Island Intersection A man has died from his injuries less than a week after he was seriously injured after he was struck by a vehicle near a Long Island intersection. The incident happened just after 8 p.m. Thursday, March 25 in Mastic. Jonathan Soltan, age 24, of Manorville, was driving a 2009 Mazda 6 northbound on Titmus Drive when his car struck Jose Manuel Diaz Orellana, age 31, of Mastic, Suffolk County Police said. Serious Crash Causes I-84 Closure A busy stretch of I-84 is closed during the height of the morning commute after a serious crash in Connecticut. The closure is in both directions after the crash involving a rolled-over tractor-trailer happened on the eastbound side just before 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 30 in Northern Fairfield County near Exit 13. Connecticut State Police said the crash led to a large fuel spill. Eastbound traffic is being detoured to local streets at Exit 11. Motorists are being advised to use alternate routes if possible. House Fire Breaks Out In Fairfield County A family has been temporarily displaced after a house fire in Fairfield County. The blaze broke out around 10 a.m. Sunday, March 28 on Live Oak Road in Norwalk. A neighbor had called 911, saying that there had been a propane tank explosion and that the house was on fire, Norwalk FD Deputy Chief Edward Prescott said.
