Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Man Nabbed After Attempting To Rob Chase Bank, Police Say A suspect was nabbed shortly after an attempted bank robbery on Long Island, according to police. Mathew Matteo, age 28, of Lynbrook, attempted to rob the Chase Bank, located in East Meadow, at 2469 Hempstead Turnpike, around 1:40 p.m. Saturday, May 8, Nassau County Police said. Matteo entered the bank, presented a demand note, and verbally demanded money from a bank teller, according to police. Long Island Man Suffers Critical Injuries After SUV Crashes Off Roadway A Long Island man was critically injured in a single-vehicle late-morning crash. It happened on Saturday, May 8 at approximately 10:20 a.m. in Miller Place. Stephen Laudani, age 75, of Miller Place, was traveling in his 2021 Dodge Durango south on Radio Avenue when the SUV veered off the roadway and crashed into shrubbery, Suffolk County Police said. Largest East Coast Fuel Pipeline Shuts Down Operations After Cyberattack The main pipeline carrying millions of gasoline and diesel fuel to the East Coast said it has halted all operations after being hit with a cyberattack. The Colonial Pipeline Company said in a statement that it learned it was the victim of a cybersecurity attack on Friday, May 7.
