Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Killed In Suffolk County House Fire A fatal Long Island house fire is under investigation. The blaze broke out in Selden at the home located at 357 Magnolia Drive at around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16. After the fire was extinguished, Earl Rahman, age 81, a resident of the home, was found dead, according to Suffolk County Police. There were no other injuries reported, Suffolk County Police said. A preliminary investigation by the Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad and Arson Section detectives has determined the cause of the fire to be non-criminal in nature.

Suffolk County Man Seriously Injured After Pickup Truck Crashes Into Tree Police are investigating an overnight crash that left a Long Island man seriously injured. It happened around 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13 in Huntington Station. The victim, a 40-year-old Huntington Station resident, was driving a 1993 Ford F-250 truck eastbound on West 11th Street, east of Oakwood Road, when the pickup truck skidded on ice, left the roadway, and struck a tree, Suffolk County Police said.
