Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suffolk County Man Seriously Injured After Car Crashes Into Pole, Police Say Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a Long Island overnight. It happened around 12:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17 in Lake Grove. A 45-year-old Deer Park man was driving a 2007 Honda Accord westbound on Nesconset Highway when he lost control of the vehicle at Moriches Road, Suffolk County Police said. Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Suffolk County Crash Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash overnight near a Long Island intersection. It happened around 7:20 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14 in Commack. The victim, James Coogan age 63, was riding a 2020 Honda motorcycle northbound on Harned Road, west of Florida Avenue, when his vehicle crashed, Suffolk County Police said. Coogan, of Commack, was pronounced dead at the scene.
