Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

55-Year-Old Killed After Being Struck By Land Rover In Sag Harbor A person was killed after being struck by a vehicle on a Long Island roadway. It happened just before 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5 in Sag Harbor. A 2018 Land Rover driven by a 77-year-old man from Water Mill was traveling westbound on Middle Line Highway near Fourteen Hills Court when he collided with a skateboarder who was in the roadway, Southampton Town Police said. The skateboarder, a 55-year-old man,  was taken to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital by Southampton Volunteer Ambulance where he succumbed to his injuries.  His name is being withheld pending the notif…

Fatal Crash: 39-Year-Old From Flanders ID'd As Victim On Montauk Highway In Bridgehampton One person was killed in a two-vehicle overnight crash on Long Island. It happened just before 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4 in Bridgehampton, in front of 2033 Montauk Highway (Route 27). When officers arrived on the scene, they found two occupants of the one vehicle injured, with one of them entrapped in the vehicle, according to Southampton Town Police. Plainedge Public Schools Superintendent Edward A. Salina, Jr. said the district has established a crisis center at Plainedge High School, where Dylan Nuccio was a senior.
