Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Construction Site Accident: Man Critically Injured In Malverne An investigation is underway after a person was critically injured in an incident on Long Island. It happened around 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 19 in Malverne. That's when a 69-year-old man was struck by a Bobcat excavator, operated by a 29-year-old man while working on a construction site at a Malverne residence, Nassau County Police said. The victim, whose identity has not been released, suffered serious injuries and was transported by a Nassau County Police Helicopter to a local hospital for treatment. Newly-Named Tropical Storm Bret Expected To Become Hurricane: Here's Projected Path Newly-named Tropical Storm Bret is expected to become the first hurricane of the 2023 season. Northern Westchester native Henry Davis, an alum of Fox Lane High School in Bedford, is set to make his Major League debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Fatal Crash: 27-Year-Old ID'd As Victim On I-84 Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash on a stretch of Interstate 84. It happened around 5:50 p.m. Saturday, June 17 in Tolland County, in the town of Vernon. Former Treasurer In Hudson Valley Nabbed For Stealing Funds, Police Say A former treasurer in the Hudson Valley is being accused of stealing funds. On Monday morning, June 19, New York State Police in Ulster County announced that Burton Gulnick Jr, age 51, from the city of Kingston was arrested on Friday, June 16.
