Englewood Daycare Damaged By Flooding Sees Community Support A New Jersey daycare that has always been there for people in need now needs help of its own. Last week, the Westside Infant Daycare in Englewood at 192 West Demarest Ave. suffered severe damage in flood.  The flood destroyed cribs, toys, books and furniture and the daycare remains closed. A fundraiser has been set up to support the daycare. As of Friday, March 8, more than $2,000 has been raised. Warren County Man Found Dead In Embankment: Njsp A 74-year-old Warren County man died after being found in at the bottom of an embankment on Wednesday, March 6, state police said. At 1:14 p.m., state police responded to a residence on Rock N' Wood Road in White Township and found the unresponsive man in an embankment adjacent to the residence, Troy McNair, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.  Edwin Glover, a White Township resident, succumbed to his injuries, McNair said. The incident remains under investigation, McNair said.

Overturned Tractor Trailer On Route 287 Causes Other Crashes: State Police An overturned truck caused numerous crashes on Route 287 on Wednesday, March 6, state police said. At 8:05 p.m., troopers responded to Route 287 north in Morristown Township, Troy McNair, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police, said.  The driver of the truck lost control and overturned, causing logs to fall off his trailer into the southbound lanes, McNair said. NJ's Theresa 'Tess' Callaghan Dies Year After Cancer Diagnosis, 29 Theresa Callaghan, a 29-year-old Mount Olive native, died on Monday, Feb. 26 after battling brain cancer, according to her obituary. Born in Cranford, Callaghan graduated from Mount Olive High School in 2012, her obituary reads. She graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in nutrition and dietetics and later achieved her master's in nutrition from St. Elizabeth University, according to her obituary. Tractor Trailer Erupts In Flames On Route 78 Firefighters extinguished a truck fire on Route 78 on the evening of Tuesday, March 5, that made the sky look orange, authorities said. At 10:39 p.m. the Whitehouse Fire Company and Oldwick Fire Company responded to Route 78 eastbound by exit 78 for a tractor trailer fire, the Whitehouse Fire Company said on Facebook. Whitehouse Fire Company Firefighters used multiple lines to attack the blaze and were able to declare the fire under control before midnight, firefighters said.
