She was a lifelong resident of Fairfield. Mrs. Hartman was employed by the Town of Fairfield for 16 years prior to her retirement. In her younger days she enjoyed horseback riding and was a longtime Avon representative. She is survived by her daughter, Eileen R. New Canaan High Football Team Ranked 19th In Northeast Region NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New Canaan High School football team was ranked 19th in the Northeast Region by Max Preps. The region includes teams from Mid-Atlantic states and New England. New Canaan is the only Connecticut team in the Max Preps rankings.
